向日市は京都府にあり、豊かな竹文化と竹産業の歴史を持っています。しかし、プラスチック素材の普及や高齢化の影響で、多くの竹林が放置されています。現在、管理人員や資金の不足に直面しており、本研究では、低コストで竹林景観を開発し、放置された竹林の魅力を再発見する方法を提案します。
現地調査から、放置された竹林は密度が不均一であることがわかりました。竹の密度と日照は竹林の景観に重要な影響を及ぼします。そこで、太陽光や笹の葉を柄、地面、水面などの投影面を紙として利用し、自然の絵を描き、光影の小道を作成します。散策路を歩く人は、朝夕、四季折々に異なる光と影の竹林の雰囲気を味わうことができます。

Muko City in Kyoto Prefecture boasts a rich history of bamboo culture and industry. Yet, the rise of plastics and an aging population have led to the neglect of many bamboo forests. Currently facing a shortage of management staff and funds, this study proposes a method for developing the landscape of abandoned bamboo groves cost-effectively, to rediscover their allure.
Site surveys reveal the uneven density of the neglected bamboo, which significantly influences the landscape.Hence, utilizing sunlight and bamboo leaves as brushes, and the ground and water surfaces as canvases, this study aim to paint with nature itself, creating pathways of light and shadow. This will allow walkers to experience the bamboo forest's ambiance, changing with the time of day and the seasons, through the interplay of light and shadow.
