This thesis focuses on the Iwaki New Town Chuodai Daini Housing Complex to challenge the "life structure alienated from nature" created by modern functional zoning (the separation of work and residence). By reinterpreting the ecological succession of the adjacent Iwaki Park, I introduce the "forest floor" as a design language organized into four stages: (1) Generation, (2) Renewal, (3) Growth, and (4) Maturation. By staggering the construction phases, the "process of growing" itself is transformed into a landscape. The project restructures the housing, the forest, and the Denshogo (Folk Museum) into a continuous cultural park. By integrating soil, water, wind, and sunlight into the structural framework, I propose a new cultural landscape where people live in harmony with the forest.
