Currently, the issue of homelessness is one of the challenges cities face. East Ikebukuro Central Park is a small urban park located in the bustling area of Ikebukuro in Toshima Ward, Tokyo. An NPO organization called TENOHASI regularly conducts activities in the park to support the independence of homeless individuals. During these activities, more than half of the park's space is occupied, making it nearly impossible for the general public to use the park. The park is home to stray cats that were once cared for by homeless individuals. Given the current situation, I propose constructing a multi-functional building in the park, with a portion of it being utilized as a stray cat café. This would provide new employment opportunities for homeless individuals, helping to build an economic foundation for their independence, create an inclusive public space, promote interaction, eliminate prejudice, and allow all beings to live together under the same shade of trees.
