東京の湾岸部に多く残された広大な土地を活かす方法として、フェーズフリーの概念を組み込んだ水上拠点を提案した。フェーズフリーとは、日常生活と災害時両方のQOLに配慮したデザインのことである。ランドスケープデザインの事例はまだ少ないが、災害に強い街を築くために重要な概念と考える。本提案では、フェーズフリーを空間で実現するためのランドスケープデザインの役割を考察し、実験的な試みも取り入れた。
I proposed a waterfront base incorporating the idea of ‘phase-free’ to take advantage of the large tracts of land in Tokyo Bay area. Phase-free is a design that takes into consideration the quality of life both in daily life and in the event of a disaster. I believe landscape design is necessary to build a disaster-resistant city, but there are still few examples. In this proposal, I considered what a role landscape design can play to realize phase-free space and incorporated experimental trials.
