Soil production on a liquefaction-history path in a dilapidated housing estate for an area of reclaimed land in Chiba City, where the population is expected to decline. By inserting an organic path into a landfill site, an inorganic environment planned uniformly over a short period, the project bridges the gap between the geographical and historical context of the reclaimed land site and the existing lowlands, attracts a diverse range of people and organisms to the declining area and creates a foundation for gentle, endogenous development that is different from conventional development of reclaimed land.
