石垣や水面といった史跡的価値や貴重な緑地環境を持ち、都心におけるオープンスペースとして可能性を大いに秘めている外濠。しかし現在は交通インフラの発達に加え、視点場の無さから外濠の魅力は隠れてしまっている。言わば、過去の上に現代が被さっている。そこで、外濠の魅力を最大限に活かした新たな４つの緑の軸を対象地に導入し、時と空間という概念的なものに、いとまという役割を与える。それにより、都心の忙しない日常から一歩抜け出し、自分の思ういとまを過ごすことのできる史跡を尊重した都市緑地空間として市ヶ谷駅周辺は新たに生まれ変わる。

We have been able to give the conceptual things of time and space the role of cousins. Starting with a walk or a run, each person can enjoy his or her own place, observe people living in a different time, fish, enjoy the scenery, and immerse oneself in one's own world, truly enjoying one's own time.
